OUR PURPOSE

To make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

Welcome to the spiritual family of Martin and Shelbyville United Methodist Churches. We are two distinct congregations joined by a single mission: to grow in faith and serve our neighbors with open hands. Whether we are gathering for worship or reaching out to those in need, we strive to create a warm, inclusive home where you can deepen your relationship with God and find your true purpose.

Our Beliefs

God’s grace is available to everyone.

The Bible is the foundation of our faith.

Faith is lived out through love, service, and justice. All people are welcome and valued.

We embrace a balance of Scripture, tradition, reason, and experience as we grow in our understanding of God.

Our faith is a living, breathing commitment to grace and inclusivity.
